Privacy policy
The short version: we collect as little as we can, store it carefully in Australia, and never sell it. The long version is below.
The short version: We collect only what we need to run our apps. We don't sell or share it. Your data lives in Australia, encrypted at rest. You can ask for it or have it deleted any time, from privacy@purplenumbat.com.
01 What we collect
When you use one of our apps or send us an email, we collect only what we need: your account details (name, email if you give us one), and anonymous app usage stats. If you opt in, we collect crash reports.
We do not collect contacts, photos, location, or anything we haven’t told you about.
02 Why we collect it
To run our apps, fix bugs, and answer your support emails. Nothing else. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to build a profile of you.
03 How we store it
Your data is encrypted at rest, hosted in Australia, and backed up nightly. We delete it on request, usually the same day.
04 Third parties
We use a small number of third-party services to run the studio. The complete list:
Apple App Store (distribution and payments). Postmark (transactional email — when you ask for a password reset, etc). Sentry (anonymous crash reports, opt-in only).
That is the entire list. We do not use Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, or any other tracking service.
05 Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, or to delete it entirely. Email privacy@purplenumbat.com — we respond within seven days, usually the same day.
06 Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we delete it.
07 Updates to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the "last updated" date. Substantial changes will be emailed to anyone with an account.
